Army Veteran Elton Thomas completes Minority Enterprise Executive Education

Spartanburg, SC- E-Vision Business Center Inc-Army veteran Elton Thomas of the Veteran Services Commission and E Vision Project Development Corporation recently completed his Minority Business Enterprise Certification at the University of Richmond in executive management and education September 23-29th 2017.
In a class with over 35+ years of combined experience with CEOs from other businesses to include three entrepreneurs from the Upstate in the areas of Information Technology, Transportation, and Construction. The participants shared best practices from actual challenges to help each other grow their businesses to better serve their communities. One of the scenarios discussed an analyzed was the Northside Initiative, which was well received, as a part of the major community revitalization venture taking place in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This initiative raised the bar for the region which experiencing one of the greatest economic development story in South Carolina history.
The Executive Management Program is apart of Carolina Virginia Minority Development Supplier Council (CVMDSC) in partnership with University of Richmond.
Thomas will apply this education to help veterans and small business owners meet their technological and IT Security needs to empower themselves and their business so they remain competitive in their market space and with the ability to create new ones.
